A senior graduating from Benton High School will be required to complete
the following program of studies. 30 credits required for graduation
4 years of English
1/2 years of Oral communications or Drama
2 years of Social Studies including:
1/2 year of Geography
1 year of American History
1/2 year of American Government
2 years of Science including:
1 year Intro to Lab Science
1 year of Biology, Chemistry, AP
Chemistry, Ag Science, Environmental Science and Horticulture

years of Mathematics
1/2 year of Driver Education
1 year of Health
1/2 year of Consumer Economics, Business
Orientation and/or Ag. Business Management
3 years of Art, Music, Foreign Language or
Vocational courses
