Alpha Smarts |
These are portable word processors that are helpful for note-taking or for typing papers if you do not own a computer. We check out Alpha Smarts to students, teachers, and staff. They check out for one night only, but may be renewed if needed. You bring the Alpha Smart to the library to format your paper and print it. | |
Copy Machine |
We have a copy machine for student use. The fee is 10 cents a sheet. | |
Old magazines for collages |
These are kept in the beige cabinet in the reference area. Take what you need. | |
Old newspapers to cut up for current event articles |
These are under the daily newspapers. Take what you need. | |
Access |
The library is open one hour before and after school Monday through Thursday. It is also open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00. Please do not bring food into the library. | |
Visually impaired and/or learning disabled services |
The library has a Closed Circuit Color TV for enlarging print and pictures, and a Galileo Reader which reads scanned text aloud. We can order talking books. | |
Supplies |
The library sells computer discs and pencils. | |
Library policies |
Books and other materials are loaned for a two-week period, which may be renewed. Overdue materials are subject to a five-cent-per-day fine. Reference materials are for overnight checkout only. |
