• 9-8-11  We will hand back the History of Agriculture quiz and review for the test that will be on Friday 9/10. Students will recieve a copy of the FFA Creed. The first paragraph will be due on Friday 9/10 as well.

    9-10-11  Test over the History of Agriculture. Students will begin reciting the first paragraph of the FFA Creed. For a copy of the Creed, see the link below.

    9-29-11 Finished entire Creed. Started filling out chapter 1-2 study guides. Official Dress worksheet is due. Use handbooks to do HOI questions.

    10-3-11 Complete chapter #1 and 2 studyguide. Go over parts of the FFA emblem. Complete HO1 (Rich History) worksheet.

    10-5-11 Complete HO1 worksheet in class. Do history crossword, turn in at end of period for a grade.

    10-12-11 Take notes on FFA Timeline. Review for test over FFA.

    10-14-11 Section and State officers visited class. Gave presentation on FFA organization. Review for test over FFA.

    10-18-11 Took FFA Ch. 1 & 2 test. 

    10-20-11 Do intro to equine industry powerpoint presentation. Fill out notes page in class.

    10-24-11 Begin Dairy Unit. Went through Dairy Powerpoint and filled out notes.

    10-26-11 Continue Dairy Unit and notes page.

    11-1-11 Reviewed Dairy Unit. Began Dairy Breeds powerpoint. Students worked in groups on Dairy Cow parts.

    11-7-11 Finished Lactaton unit. Reviewed the parts of a dairy cow. Preped for test.

    11-9-11 Review for the test. Students then took test over dairy lactation. Began Horticulture unit with notes packet.
