21st Century Learning Center Grant Information
BCHS has received grant funding from the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant for the 2015-16 school year. BCHS offers before and after school learning opportunities for students including credit classes, enrichment opportunities, and individual assistance with homework help and tutoring. The credit is Western Civilization I. The enrichment activities for students are Flags and Color Guard, Applied Music Theory and Techniques, Needlework, Beginning and Advanced Robotics, Drum Line, Speed and Agility, and After School Auto. Students who need assistance with their academics have access to help and tutoring. Tutoring is available with Ms. Shelby Moore from 7:00 - 7:50 am Monday through Friday and Ms. Shelby Moore and Mrs. Barb Phelps from 3:00 – 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday. The library as well as the library computer lab is also open for student use during this time. Students and/or their parents can contact us to arrange formal after school tutoring on a regularly scheduled basis. We want to encourage all students to seek additional help with their academics and there is no charge for the before and after school activities, including tutoring. Watch our website for upcoming opportunities for students and parents through 21stCentury grant programming.
