The YAF Students at BCHS are keenly aware that the immense sacrifices veterans have made often go unnoticed. To ensure our local heroes feel appreciated, the organization has executed several initiatives this year:
Veteran's Day: Hosted a special Breakfast and Ceremony.
Current Service: Today, students stuffed stockings for delivery to veterans in local nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Ongoing Goal: They are actively raising money to sponsor a local veteran on the prestigious Honor Flight in May.
