BCHS will operate an early dismissal schedule the first 3 weeks of school this year. Students will be dismissed at 1:50 pm from Aug. 10 through Aug. 28.

This is notification that BCHS is commencing an asbestos abatement project on or about May 26, 2026. The process will follow all state and federal rules and regulations required. The affected areas of the school will be closed with signage prohibiting entrance.

This Wednesday, April 15th, at BCHS is our ACT testing day for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors. Your student’s attendance for the ACT is extremely important and we ask you for your help to make sure your student comes prepared with their Chromebooks completely charged on Wednesday. We will dismiss school after testing is complete at 1:00 pm.

It is with a heavy heart that the Benton Consolidated High School family acknowledges the passing of one of our own, Blaine Baseden.
Blaine was a junior at BCHS and a valued member of our Ranger community. As we all process this tragedy over the remainder of the winter break, we want to remind our students and families that you are not alone.
When school resumes on Tuesday, January 7th, dedicated counseling services and support staff will be available in the Library and Student Services for any student or staff member needing a place to talk or process this loss.
