BiCounty Health Department will be at BCHS on April 21, 2022 to provide Meningococcal vaccines to any student age 16 or older. Paperwork has been mailed to the parents of sophomore and junior students who meet the required age. (This immunization is a mandatory requirement for all students entering their senior year.) Please complete the paperwork by Monday, April 14, to take advantage of this opportunity The deadline for Juniors (Class of 2023) to get the Meningococcal immunization is May 2, 2022.

Updated 2021-22 School Calendar: Due to the use of one emergency day thus far, the final day of student attendance has been moved back to Monday, May 23, 2022.

BCHS has a part-time assistant cook opening immediately. Graduation for the Class of 2022 is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 4:00 p.m. at Tabor Field.

Prom 2022 Information

BCHS will conduct an E-Learning Day tomorrow, Thursday, February 24. Assignments will be available by 9:00 a.m. All students must log in to their B day classes before 1:00 pm to record their attendance. Stay warm and safe! -Benjy Johnson, BCHS Superintendent

BCHS has amended its Return to Learning Plan

Due to Friday's court decision, BCHS will move to masks "optional" beginning Tuesday, February 8. We encourage masking, but it is no longer required.

BCHS will conduct an e-learning day on Monday, February 7. Students should log in to google classroom between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to complete assignments and attendance forms.

Due to the weather forecast and possible freezing precipitation this afternoon, BCHS will dismiss students at 11:55 today. All after school practices and activities are cancelled today as well. Stay safe!

In-person learning is cancelled for Thursday, Feb. 3 and Friday, Feb. 4. E-learning will be conducted on both days. All practices, activities, and games are cancelled for Thursday, Feb. 3.

Reminder to parents and students: tomorrow, January 4th, will be an A day following a regular 2:50 dismissal schedule.

BCHS now has an approved E-Learning Plan which allows us to utilize 5 e-learning days in lieu of emergency days. This determination will be made on a case by case basis when we have inclement weather, and will be announced through an "all call" to parents and guardians. The plan is available for viewing on the school website.

BCHS will be collecting shoes of all sizes before school in the commons on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week to donate to the tornado victims in Kentucky. Gayleen and Bryson Hammonds will deliver the shoes through Bryson's church. This drive will last from December 14-December 16, 2021, and will be collecting new and gently used shoes of all sizes. Due to inclement weather, tonight’s basketball game vs Herrin and the wrestling matches with Unity and Camp Point have been CANCELLED. Events for Saturday will be on as scheduled.
