Just a reminder we are doing early dismissal at 1:50pm through Friday, August 23rd. On Monday, August 26th every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (unless otherwise noted) will be our Regular schedule ending at 2:50pm. Every Wednesday will be our Early dismissal schedule of 1:50pm.

Today was a beautiful day for graduation practice. We are looking forward to a similar day tomorrow for the graduation ceremony at 4:00 pm on Tabor Field. Congratulations BCHS Class of 2024!
BCHS will hold its regular Board of Education meeting on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at 5:00pm instead of 5:30.
Due to the severe weather, we will be postponing tonight's band auditions. If you were scheduled to audition tonight, please come tomorrow, or Friday during your normal scheduled time. If you can, please email Mr. McDaniel and let him know which day you are going to choose so that I can make note of it and type out a schedule. If you cannot make it tomorrow or Friday, please reach out to him and let me know a time that does work for you.

Meal prices will increase next year as required by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). The ISBE conducted a School Nutrition Resource Management Review this spring. Because we are a part of the federal lunch program, we receive reimbursement for each student lunch at approx. $3.50. The feds want our meal prices to be at least the same amount as our reimbursement. Rather than increase our prices by .90, we are allowed to make an incremental increase of .10. In addition, adult meal prices must be at least .50 higher than the paid student meal price. Therefore, prices for student and adult meals will increase next year as follows:
Student Breakfast from $1.55 to $1.65, Student Lunch from $2.60 to $2.70,
Adult Breakfast from $1.80 to $2.15, Adult Lunch from $2.80 to $3.20.

Eclipse Day is April 8, 2024.
BCHS has a special education teacher opening for the 24-25 school year. Application information is available on the district website and on the IASA Job Bank. The deadline for application is Friday, April 5, 2024 @ 3:00 p.m.
This year's district "dead week" is June 30, 2024 - July 7, 2024. No district activities will take place during this week.
BCHS has made an adjustment to this year's school calendar. Due to the cancellation of school on March 7 & 8, students will now attend school on May 23 and May 24.
